BREAKTHROUGH IN FINANCE –
IT IS GOD’S WILL FOR YOU TO PROSPER!
Many people request prayers for
their finance.
I see lots of Christians
everyday, struggling to break through financially! I know that God says
He will bless me while I sleep. I also know that Jesus died on the
cross, for me to have an abundant overflowing life!
I believe His word saying in Rev
1:5 and Rev 5:9&10, that He washed me in His blood to become a King to
Rule on earth!
Joh 10:10b says that He has come
that I may have Life and Life ABUNDANTLY!
Ecc 2:26
For to the person who pleases Him God gives wisdom and knowledge and
joy; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and heaping up,
that he may give to one who pleases God. ….
There are many other promises and we know it is
true, but why don’t we see the breakthrough?
Isa 54:12 And I will make your windows
and pinnacles of [sparkling] agates or rubies, and your gates of
[shining] carbuncles, and all your walls [of your enclosures]
of precious stones. [Rev. 21:19-21.]
Isa 54:13 And all your [spiritual]
children shall be disciples [taught by the Lord and obedient to His
will], and great shall be the peace and undisturbed composure of
your children. [John 6:45.] ……………………………
Isa
54:17 But no weapon that is
formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise
against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace,
righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is
the heritage of the servants of the
Lord [those
in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is
the righteousness or the vindication which
When we read Isa
54 : 17 we get a better understanding and see that these promises are
for the SERVANTS OF THE LORD!
Are you a servant of the Lord?
When we want to
prosper financially, we have to look at the principles, clearly shown to
us in the scriptures!
Now , we have a
promise that when we follow Him, be His servant, He will make us
successful and prosperous!
Let us have a look
at Joshua:
Jos 1:1
Now after the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, the word of the
Lord came to Joshua, the son of Nun, Moses' helper, saying,
Jos 1:2
Moses my servant is dead; so now get up! Go over Jordan, you and all
this people, into the land which I am giving to them, to the children of
Israel.
Jos 1:3
Every place on which you put your foot I have given to you, as I said to
Moses.
Jos 1:4
From the waste land and this mountain Lebanon, as far as the great
river, the river Euphrates, and all the land of the Hittites to the
Great Sea, in the west, will be your country.
Jos 1:5
While you are living, all will give way before you: as I was with Moses,
so I will be with you; I will not take away my help from you or give you
up.
Jos 1:8
Let this book of the law be ever on your lips and in your thoughts day
and night, so that you may keep with care everything in it; then a
blessing will be on all your way, and you will do well.
The Lord says to
Joshua: As Moses was my servant, so you are my servant and I will always
be with you and go before you. Let MY WORDS be on your lips and
thoughts day and night then you will be blessed and successful in all
your ways!
We must understand
that when we want to prosper financially we must find out WHAT God’s
Word is regarding finance!
Let us have a look
at a few scriptures and principles on finance in the Word of God :
Gal 6 (Amplified)
Gal 6:6
Let him who receives instruction in the Word [of God] share all
good things with his teacher [contributing to his support].
Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived and deluded
and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned,
disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His
precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who
attempts to delude God.]
For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.
Gal 6:8 For he who sows to his own
flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin
and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap
eternal life.
Gal 6:9 And let us not lose heart and
grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time
and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax
our courage and faint.
Gal 6:10 So then, as occasion and
opportunity open up to us, let us do good [morally] to all people
[not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is
for their spiritual good and advantage]. Be mindful to be a
blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who
belong to God's family with you, the believers].
The principle that
stands out in all scriptures on finance is that he who sows, will be the
one who gets the blessing! Understand that and get a breakthrough in you
finance today!
The Bible says “For
whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.”
I have a friend
who used to battle tremendously with finance. He could never pay his
bills and could never supply the needs of his family although he loves
Jesus and is a born again , Spirit filled believer! For years he battled
until one day, he realized the truth of the Word! He started to sow into
fruitful soil! On many occasions he sowed every cent he had with him,
knowing that it was the last money he had to buy food with! He decided
to stand on God’s Word! He decided to trust God and waited expectantly
on a great harvest! He did not get the breakthrough immediately and at
times his faith nearly let him down!
One day out of the
blue he received a call and was offered a job (3 times the salary he
used to earn)!
Very soon he was
promoted and his wife was offered a great business opportunity!
Today they are
followers and servants of God’s principles in the Word and I am blessed
to see how the Truth manifests in their lives !
“……………for in due time and at
the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our
courage and faint. “
Do you have seed
in the ground? If you have , start to pray that God will send rain and
see your harvest, expect your harvest because God is not a man that He
can lie!
This situation
showed me that it is necessary to sow when you are in need! Some people
says that that they will sow when they received something! They will
never receive anything and are mocking God!
In 1 Kings 17 the
widow of Zarephath only had enough in her home to feed herself and her
son for the last time, and then die. But God send Elijah to her to tell
her she need to give him her last meal. When she did that, God blessed
her with a miracle and she had enough food in her house until it rained.
Shortly before
that God supplied Elijah with food by sending it to him with a raven
Elijah did not need the food. God would have supplied. The woman needed
to act in faith, so that her miracle could come to light.
Mat 7:11
(Amplified) If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and
advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who
is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and advantageous things
to those who keep on asking Him!
Mat 7:12 (Amplified)
So then, whatever you desire that
others would do to and for you, even so do also to and for them,
for this is (sums up) the Law and the Prophets.
Expect to receive
in the same measure as you are prepared to give! If you are only
prepared to give when you have received, then you do not need God’s
promise that He will provide in your needs!
Mal 3:8 Will a man rob or defraud God?
Yet you rob and defraud Me. But you say, In what way do we rob or
defraud You? [You have withheld your] tithes and offerings.
Mal 3:9 You are cursed with the curse,
for you are robbing Me, even this whole nation. [Lev. 26:14-17.]
Mal 3:10 Bring all the tithes (the
whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food
in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will
not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that
there shall not be room enough to receive it. [Mal. 2:2.]
Mal 3:11 And I will rebuke the
devourer [insects and plagues] for your sakes and he shall not
destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine drop its
fruit before the time in the field, says the Lord of hosts.
Mal 3:12 And all nations shall call
you happy and blessed, for you shall be a land of delight, says the Lord
of hosts.
In these scriptures we see that God
says He will even keep the devourer away when you sow into the Kingdom!
Yes, in Isa 54 :16 God says that He
has created the devastator (devourer) for one reason, to destroy!
But for us, Who are His servants, who keep His principles and Word, no
weapon that was formed against us shall prosper! He will keep the
devourer away! That is not all, He says that when we sow into the
Kingdom we must test Him , if He will not open the windows of heaven and
bless us in such a way that our store rooms will not be able to contain
it!
2 Cor 9
(Amplified)
2Co 9:6 [Remember] this: he who
sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly,
and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone]
will also reap generously and with blessings.
2Co 9:7
Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed
in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for
God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is
unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous,
``prompt to do it") giver [whose heart is in his giving].
[Prov. 22:9.]
If you do not believe, that you will
receive, don’t give! If you are not giving with a cheerful expecting
heart, don’t give, because you will waste your seed!
The scriptures above says that God
LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER!
2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all
grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so
that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be
self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and
furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].
Wow!
Look at this! The Word says that
if you are not sowing sparingly and grudgingly, you will not only reap
generously and with blessings but, you will under
all circumstances
whatever the need is be self-sufficient! Is this not an awesome promise?
2Co 9:10 And [God]
Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide
and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits
of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness,
kindness, and charity]. [Isa. 55:10; Hos. 10:12.]
He will even
provide more seed if you are a sower, so that you can increase and
multiply your sowing, so that you can have a increased and multiplied
harvest!
2Co 9:11 Thus you
will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be
generous, and [your generosity as it is] administered by us will
bring forth thanksgiving to God.
2Co 9:12 For the
service that the ministering of this fund renders does not only fully
supply what is lacking to the saints (God's people), but it also
overflows in many [cries of] thanksgiving to God.
When you reap a
harvest, do not boast and think it is of your own well doing but
remember that it comes from HIM:
Deu 8 (Amplified)
Deu 8:17 And
beware lest you say in your [mind and] heart, My power and the
might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.
Deu 8:18 But you
shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who
gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which
He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
Deu 8:19 And if
you forget the Lord your God and walk after other gods and serve them
and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely
perish.
When you sow, make sure it is in
fruitful soil, where you can expect a harvest!
How do we know
what is fruitful soil? Well, look at the fruit! Is there testimonies of
God’s power manifesting, are you blessed with the word? Trust the Holy
Spirit to lead you and guide you!
Most Christians
understand the principle of sowing but never really act! Become a doer
of the Word and see the manifested power and blessings of God in your
life!
Jam 1
(Amplified)
Jam 1:22
But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely
listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning
contrary to the Truth].
Jam 1:23 For if
anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of
it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural
face in a mirror;
Jam 1:24 For he
thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets
what he was like.
Jam 1:25 But he
who looks carefully into the faultless law, the [law] of liberty,
and is faithful to it and perseveres in looking into it, being not a
heedless listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he
shall be blessed in his doing (his life of obedience).
Isa 48:17 Thus says the Lord,
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, Who
teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way that you should go.
Amen!
With love in Jesus Christ
