Pray Prayer Request

All over the globe, we see millions of people hungry for the word of God. Prayer requests come to our mail daily with thousands of requests for us to pray for people.  People want to see the supernatural signs and wonders of God Almighty.  People want to pray, but most of the time they are unsure of the reality and existence of God.  Prayer requests come in daily with God’s people asking for prayers and advice. We know that God is a rewarder of those who seek HIM. We see hundreds of miracles and thank our Father in heaven for His love, mercy and grace.

Sometimes we get prayer requests starting off like “ please pray for me”,   “ pray to God”,  “ please ask God ….” , meaning that people don’t believe that they can go to God in faith and ask themselves.

Most of the time when God’s children ask for prayer or prayer requests, they are desperately in need or in some sort of trouble.  Someone, asking someone else to pray for them also (most of the time, not always) are in condemnation and do not really understand the grace of God and what Jesus Christ came to do. People feel condemned and guilty. They can not pray or do not understand how to pray although they know that there is a heavenly Father who can hear their prayers or at least someone else’s prayers.

However, there is the Christian who understands the word of God and needs someone to agree with him or her in prayer.  These Christians also come in different categories of faith and understanding.  We have put the program for prayer requests in place, to help these Christians by praying for them to receive the wisdom and understanding. We pray that God will grant them the Spirit of Wisdom, that they will understand the deep and intimate mysteries and secrets of God that is hidden in Christ Jesus.

Prayer for you today

We know that the Word of God tells us to pray for each other.  This type of prayer comes with or without a prayer request. It is our duty as Christians to pray for each other. But we can also request  or ask our fellow Christian brothers and sisters to pray with us and for us.

In answering a prayer request, it is necessary  not only pray for the brethren’s need, but also teach them that God is a loving God , full of grace and mercy, who wants us as His children to come to him in asking  and supplication.

Prayer requests are a token and sign that millions of people acknowledge a God and that the know that there is help somewhere, ready to be given. We find that some of the prayer requests come from people who have no relationship with God at all. Some awesome testimonies like “ thank you for showing me the way to God” and “ I know now that God exists” is prove of this.

In teaching us and the disciples how to pray, Jesus also lead by example as He prays to His Father, asking and knowing that He always receives. He says that His Father always hears HIM. Payer requests can be used effectively by teaching the truth about the only living God, Jesus Christ.

Once we understand what Jesus really did on Golgotha, we will also find it easier to understand prayer. We will know that we can go to God with boldness because Jesus already died and took all the blame and wrath of God that day.

Whenever you answer a prayer request, also pray that Father will grant the person the deep intimate knowledge of who HE really is.  He will pray for you to the Father interceding and pray with the Holy Ghost.
